The magical Lake Como in Northern Italy was the inspiration for the organically-shaped RMCC Como door pull. Designed by Simone Pittella, the picturesque lake is at the forefront of his mind, even when he’s returned to Australia. The handle’s curvaceous lines can be enjoyed throughout a house, whether it’s used for a front entry door pull, a joinery pull, or even a clothes hook in a front passage. Not surprisingly, the RMCC Como often appears in numerous rooms, including bathrooms, as a hook to hold one’s dressing gown first thing in the morning. Simone not only took his inspiration from Lake Como, but equally from the movement of waves experienced across numerous continents travelled.
Led by Pittella’s Managing Director, Simone Pittella, and working in collaboration with a highly skilled team of artisanal manufacturers in Italy, the Pittella Design Studio are responsible for sourcing, selecting and developing a wide range of unique, high-quality products that are perfectly suited to the needs of their Australian clientele.
