Over the years, my collaboration with Pittella has evolved into a seamless professional alliance rooted in shared values of artisanal excellence and refined aesthetics. This partnership began when I, inspired by my love for Italian architecture and historic Northern Italian motifs, envisioned hardware that embodied the elegance and structural integrity of classical design. Working closely with Simone Pittella and his talented team, we transformed initial sketches into bespoke pieces that have become integral elements of the studio’s projects, exemplifying a dialogue between architecture and artisanal craftsmanship. Our relationship has flourished through a mutual commitment to quality, with Pittella’s handcrafted ironmongery perfectly complementing the calibre of interiors we realise, each piece a testament to meticulous detail and bespoke artistry. A notable highlight of our collaboration was on Hampden, a boutique residence inspired by Rome’s Palazzo della Civiltà; the Bellagio door pull and Valentina handle reflect my architectural language—curved forms, refined finishes, and a sense of understated grandeur—while embodying Pittella’s heritage craftsmanship. This alliance has further elevated our projects, offering clients harmonious environments where every element, from architecture to hardware, tells a cohesive story of timeless elegance.
